"Okay!" said Centrelink. "We've run our computermachines, and according to them, you owe us $1,100."
"This is not kind to a young man with anxiety issues," I responded.
My trip to the US has gone from "I just need to know a compatible date" to "Maybe in 2030 I'll be able to afford luxuries again". And I was really looking forward to that, too.
I shall now either go to sleep or throw the mother of all tantrums. Or both.
