So! Who just woke up from the most terrifying nightmare of his adult life? Some other people as well, possibly, but I'm talking about me. Let me tell you - a few months back I had a few nightmares where the emotion in question was "sadness", "frustration", or "anticipation of failure", and even though I had to go give Siobhan a hard neither-of-us-are-in-danger hug, the standard fear nightmares are WAY better than those experimental jams. There was even some fun, in retrospect.
For example, at one early pre-nightmare-tornadoes point in the dream, an old friend from Adelaide and I briefly played a Human Centipede game on the X-box before (predictably) giving up in disgust. In the game, you played the victims' cats going out to try to find them, and Meat Loaf played another doctor's scarred Igor-like bodyguard. That would nearly justify the movie's existence.
